Back-End Encryption. The  SSL Accelerator supports the capability of initiating SSL sessions to an SSL termination point on another device to deliver complete end-to-end security while still allowing the content switch to make routing decisions.

Client Certificate Support. The  SSL Accelerator enables a logical SSL server to request a client certificate during the SSL handshake and then provide control over the handling of the certificate to the secure server. The certificate information can then be forwarded back to the secure server.

Reliability.  The rack-mounted versions of the  SSL Accelerator include redundant power supplies to ensure your mission-critical secure servers stay up and running.
